A companion program to Trees 4 Peace, extending the healing of nature into the spaces where people live and gather.
There is no doubt that most countries, and the planet as a whole, face a mounting crisis in the health of urban and community green space — a crisis that mirrors, and is inseparable from, the crisis of human collective wellbeing. Greens for Peace extends the Institute’s Law of Interdependence into the neighborhoods, schools and public spaces where communities gather daily, using the cultivation of green space as a shared, healing act.
