The People’s Forum on Human Rights and Responsibilities
PFHRR — a forum for the promotion of human rights and responsibilities, worldwide.

Rights and responsibilities, together

No society can live without human rights and responsibilities. As the population of the world increases, and as awareness of human interdependence grows, these rights and responsibilities become essential for human betterment, social stability, world peace, and predictable and equitable prosperity for all.
Despite this basic foundation of any society, human rights are violated everywhere, and there are only few socially responsible people who assume their corresponding responsibilities — personal as well as collective. At the dawn of the third millennium, fundamental questions remain open worldwide: whether men and women are treated as equal; whether children, the elderly, the handicapped, indigenous peoples, youth, and minorities of every kind — ethnic, religious, spiritual — are afforded the rights owed to them.
PFHRR exists to bring civil society leaders into dialogue, exchange and shared experience with policymakers — forming a critical part of the path toward a new form of public policy making, with meaningful space for the participation of youth and children.
